delicately carved in openwork two confronting fish, finely carved with detailed scales and fins, their bodies slightly curved giving a sense of movement, the heads of the fish adorned with tourmaline-inlaid eyes, the twin fish arched by symmetrical curved lotus leaves and buds above their heads, the stone of white tone with russet inclusions
