An old life size Plover Shorebird Decoy used by the Coffin Family on Tuckernuck Island which is a part of Nantucket County. The Coffin family are historic residents of Tuckernuck Island, they lived for generations in one of the very few homes on the island. In old paint, a portion of the lower part of the neck is missing below a neck chip and with wear expected for its age.
