Description
Egypt, New Kingdom to Late Period, ca. 1550 to 332 BCE. A group of three single-strand necklaces composed of ancient faience disk beads in soft turquoise, pale blue, and earthy tones characteristic of Egyptian faience. The small beads display natural variation in color and surface wear from age, creating a pleasingly mottled appearance across each strand. Each necklace has been restrung and fitted with a modern barrel clasp, making the pieces wearable while preserving the ancient beads. Size: 17.5" L (44.4 cm); beads: 0.1" L (0.3 cm)
