Halstaff and Hannaford English Exotic Wood Lap Desk, having brass mounts and handles, 19th century, Berry's patent light match holder and inkwell, height 6 1/4 inches, top 10" x 12 3/4".

Ca. last half 19thC. The exterior has a top wood crack, and this has cracked the leather as well.

This piece is in good condition overall with a few small spots of discoloration on the front, with corner paint loss. Inner brass lock is loose, no key. See pics for best condition report.
