Attributed to Mary Beale (English, 1633-1699) "Portrait of Robert Bertie, Fourth son of James Earl of Abingdon," oil on canvas, bearing various inscriptions and partial paper labels on reverse including intact 19th century restorer's label indicating the painting was relined in 1866. Image: 29" H x 24" W; frame: 35.5" H x 30.5" W x 2" D. Provenance: Removed from a Bronxville, NY estate.
