Edward Vom Hofe fly fishing reel. Believed to be an earlier model it does have a pat'd date of Sept 2, 1879 and Jan 23, 1883. It also reads Fulton St. NY and is inscribed with the name George Raymond.

3 7/8" diameter in good working order.

Comes with sliding oil port caps marked "Edward vom Hofe Maker Pat May 20, 02", 4 1/4" dia., 2 1/4" wide spool, star drag, rim mounted free spool and drag levers, back mounted click button, serial no.
