Description
The Doolittle Raid by Carroll Glines, Schiffler Military/Aviation History, 1991. The book and dust jacket are in very good condition. The book details America’s first strike against Japan in WWII orchestrated by Jimmy Doolittle. The bookplate has been signed by a “ Doolittle Raider” Jacob DeShazer who flew plane 16 in the raid. He was captured by the Japanese and spent 40 months as a POW.
