Chronometer Geomatic Ref.E399 a 1960s masterpiece created by the prestigious Jaeger-LeCoultre.
Among the Jaeger-LeCoultre manufacture which has a wide variety of variations the Geomatic is a model that pursues precision which is the essence of a watch.
In order to make the case look slim the dial is shaped like a cylinder concave towards the outside.
The tip of the second hand is also curved to match the dial.
A medallion shines on the back cover a proof of high precision.

Despite its excellent performance it is said that only around 2 300 pieces of the Geomatic were produced as the movement was not thin enough when it was first announced in 1961.
However not all movements equipped with Geomatic are cal.K881G.
