Extremely large cast iron Lubrite Gas truck at 13" in length approximately. Toy comes from the Don Kaufman collection and is striking red with gold highlighting. Proper driver present and wheels are the desirable nickel plated solid iron five spokes with red insert. Tank is marked Lubrite Gasoline on both sides. This same toy is pictured in the "American Motortoys" book by Lillian Gottschalk on page 86. Condition is noted in the book as partly overpainted, and then restored slowly by removing the overpaint, getting back to original.

Good
