BIOGRAPHY:
I treasure the unexpected and incongruent scenes in our everyday world ' scenes like deer resting in my backyard, birds alighting on ski poles or a bookcase jammed with still life props. Both color (subtle or vivid contrasts) and brushwork (thick paint or fluid line) draw me in. I have been painting and drawing since early childhood. I earned a fine arts degree from Syracuse University, worked as an art director at Ogilvy & Mather, and later as a graphic designer at Woman's World Magazine. My passion for painting and drawing continues to this day, and I still love immersing myself in the colors and shapes of the world around me.
