Condition Notes: An homage to the timeless elegance of floral motifs, this amethyst and diamond gold necklace features an enchanting series of links that alternate between delicate amethyst and diamond florets, open oval-shaped gold links and diamond-set lozenge shaped links leading the eye towards the centerpiece: a large, mesmerizing oval-shaped amethyst with a blossoming halo of diamonds. Marked 18K and having maker's mark AS, tests 18k. Completed by a gem-set box clasp with figure-8 latch. Accompanied by paperwork from Amsterdam Sauer with known weights, dating April 4, 1982. Stating amethyst total weight of 57.00 carats and diamond weight is 6.30 carats.
