Montblanc Writer's Edition Leo Tolstoy Limited Edition Rollerball Pen. Tolstoy, one of Russia's most famous sons & gifted literary authors chose to live a life of poverty & reclusiveness. His work as a peasant is symbolized on this magnificent pen by the elaborative handcrafted, hammered & silver-plated barrel case. The pillars at the entrance of the Yasnaya Polyana estate where he was born are echoed in the shape of the top of the cap, which bears the Montblanc black/white resin emblem. The Tolstoy family crest is finely engraved on the solid gold nib & the cap is decorated w/his engraved signature & adorned w/Russian ornaments. An outstanding NOS blue/black limited edition rollerball complete in presentation book w/booklet & orig boxes, 8.5" x 6.5".
