A helmet for Saxon Pioneer Reserve OfficersBlack lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay, rear visor with red underlay, silver: round spike base, rear spine, spike and front visor trim; officer front plate of silver star with gilt reserve cross and gilt Saxon coat of arms, attached by two splintas; gilt stars and flat chin scales with silver rosette side posts; Imperial Officer and Saxon cockades; dark brown leather sweatband, brown silk lining.
