A Scythian stick attachment (rattle with bird of prey head), 7th - 6th century B.C.Preserved at 12.5 cm in length, a square iron rod opening into a spout of a cone-shaped bronze attachment just under 3 cm long. Probably ornament of a carriage. Total length 29 cm.Impressive example of the early Scythian animal style of archaic charisma.Provenance: Ostdeutsche Privatsammlung.Condition: II
