CH-46 Sea Night Wooden Helicopter Model

The CH-46 Sea Night is a medium-lift tandem-rotor transport helicopter powered by twin turboshaft engines. This helicopter was operated by the United States Marine Corps to provide all-weather, day or night transport of combat troops, supplies, and equipment until it was replaced during the 2010s. It was also used for combat support, search and rescue, casualty evacuation, and Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel. Both engines in the helicopter were coupled so that either one would be capable of powering both of the main rotors in the event of a single engine failure or a similar emergency situation.
This handcrafted replica is handcrafted with movable rotors and wheels. It is made of mahogany wood and finished with high gloss polyurethane on deep wood grain. Stand Included.
