Chinese Qing Dynasty QianLong Tea Form Porcelain Vase. Potted in celestial shape vase, thick and tall, globular lower body, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with slight flaring mouth rim, raised on a short small round foot base with slight concave. Warm and uniform tea dust glaze applied to the surface, only the outer bottom is white glazed. Tea powder glaze is one of the important varieties of iron crystal glaze in ancient China. The Iridescent Green pale, gilt splashes and streaks characteristic of this glaze are described as yao bian, or transmutation glaze and resulting from transmutation of colloidal copper, iron, or other metallic materials into suffusions breaking up the glace.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed brown script characters reign mark. Made in The Years QianLong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
