Description
A five piece Pewter "Tudric" Tea and Coffee Service with tray probably designed by Archibald Knox, Liberty & Company, England, circa 1905. Nice toned patina, with all pieces made of hammered pewter with wood handles and top finials. Serving pieces marked on bottom with -- "6, TUDRIC, ENGLISH PEWTER, LIBERTY & CO. and numbered 01536"; tray marked the same but its number is "01213" and "13 INCH". Dimensions: Coffee Pot (1 1/2 Pint) 7 3/4 in. tall, Teapot (2 Pint) 5 in. tall, Cream and Suger both 2 1/4 in. tall x 5 in. long, Tray 13 in. diameter. Condition: set is in overall good antique condition, consistent with age, use and softness of pewter, some minor surface scuffs and dents on nearly all pieces.
