German WWII Waffen-SS Ukrainian Division 'Galizien' set. This set includes shoulder boards and sleeve insignia from the 14th Waffen-Grenadier Division 'Galizien' of the Waffen-SS (Ukrainian Nr.1). The shoulder boards are of the Polizei type with enameled cyphers, and it also features the Galizien lion shoulder patch. This set is rare to find. Selling on consignment.

HISTORY of SALES: A few years ago, German WWII insignia for volunteers (only patches, no shoulder boards and enameled badges) were sold on Live Auctioneers and eBay for $280, $613, $1,800, and $2,100 - please refer to the screenshots for details. Today, prices have significantly increased compared to those of 5-10 years ago.
WARRANTY: The buyer has 5 days to inspect items for originality, valued at up to $5,000, and 10 days for items valued at $5,000 or more. Items can be returned to the seller for a refund; please refer to the Terms for more details.
NO RESERVE: Most of the auctioned items have NO reserve price. Among the remaining items, there are reserve prices set at incredibly low levels, typically ranging from 30-40% of the low estimate price.
PAYMENT: Payment can be made with a Credit Card, Zelle, PayPal (for international bidders), Wire Transfer, Check, or Money Order. You can also suggest other methods of payment. Canadian winners can make payments to a Canadian Bank in CAD via Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer, or Interac e-Transfer.

HISTORY: The 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Galician) (German: 14. Waffen-Grenadier-Division der SS (galizische Nr. 1)), prior to 1944 titled the 14th SS-Volunteer Division 'Galicia' (German: 14. SS-Freiwilligen Division 'Galizien') was a World War II German military formation made up predominantly of volunteers with a Ukrainian ethnic background from the area of Galicia, later also with some Slovaks and Czechs. Formed in 1943, it was largely destroyed in the battle of Brody, reformed, and saw action in Slovakia, Yugoslavia and Austria before being renamed the first division of the Ukrainian National Army and surrendering to the Western Allies by 10 May 1945.
