This issue is reserved for Friends of History. The holocaust and deportation and destruction of millions of people is not a story to be told, but a difficult heritage to transmit: the suffering of the men, women and children tho endured the days without end. It was Christain Bernadac,wish perhaps, that through the publication of these numberless accounts, many of us will be able to approach this universe, many sided, complex, irrational and common place banality of evil, or the beastliness of man; but an inspiration if you cling to the acts of solidarity and resistance, to the personalities revealed, their friendships and their gift of themselves, and the triumph of essential values. In this fleeting awareness of moment to moment, analysis was only possible for a minority, with a margin of error in significant evaluation, for the system varied constantly with the phases of the war, the political and industrial requirements, and the interpretations of the administrative or penitentiary hierarchy. And pages must be reserved for reticence, relative well-being, and new orientations which necessitate a final reconstitution of the problems presented. Christian Bernadac, He was a son of a French Deportee. Christian Bernadac, was born on 1 August 1937 in Tarascon-sur-Ariege which is in southwestern France and her died December 14, 2003 he was 66 years old. He was a remarkable French journalist and a great writer known for his writings on World War II and the Holocaust. He was a son of a Deportee, so he carried the reality of war in his heart, but rather than bear alone the burden, he decided starting in the years 1967 to tell what his father had told and sent him, and that his remarkable research has allowed him to discover, through a collection of 12 books devoted entirely to the Holocaust and the deportation of millions of innocent people to their deaths. Bernadac was not a Historian or a Philosopher, a Great Journalist. Here we have twelve volumes, to answer a double question: how and why was man permitted to commit this crime, perhaps the most terrible of our history, and why did he wish to do so? The answer, the answers are to be found, Christain Bernadac believe, in the texts of these inquiries, even if they are not always directly observable in black and white. At least, now most of the pieces of the puzzle have been brought together. Bernadac was neither an historian nor a philosopher, but simply a journalist, and his role is limited to preparing and saving these thousands of accounts which would never have been written except for his stubbornness. Tomorrow they may render service to those who want to go further than the testimony. Surprisingly Bernadac Books were an Overnight Success. It is interesting that these detailed and sometimes graphic books were treated by their publishers as common books, and it did not matter that the content was so intense. Surprisingly they were an overnight success. This allowed the publishers to make an implicit collection, based on the name of the author, and grouping these twelve books on the deportation was a masterful move. On the other hand, the work of Bernadac still arouses great controversy among disbelievers of the holocaust since its authenticity is without question, this is probably because of the horror revealed was too much for the critics of the holocaust to deal with factually.An Exhaustive study of the Concentration Camp System. Michel de Bouard, at that time Dean of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Caen (a former deportee of Mauthausen) wrote, in 1954: “When the survivors of the deportation have disappeared, the archivists of the future may be in possession of a few papers which are unknown to us today: but the principal source will be gone: and by this I mean the living memory of the witnesses. However, it was established that the works of Bernadac are based on years of painstaking objective research, even if there is no doubt that the author was inspired by the past of his remarkable father Robert Bernadac, who was a policeman, and later a clandestine radio in the Resistance, he was deported to Sachsenhausen camp by the Nazi occupying forces. Christian Bernadac works have only deepened truths transmitted by his father through the research he has done as a great journalist. The Truth of Nazi Deportation and Murder on the Industrial Scale. Christian Bernadic was the son of a deportee. The deportation is like a birthmark on him. He has approached it as he would an archeological exploration, seeking not only artifacts (anecdotes), but looking for the underlying meaning of each level (Behavior, attitudes, reactions, conclusions). The confrontation, contradictions on facts, sensations, personal truths lay bare, without interpretation, constitute the ethical doctrine of the reporter. He plays no part in the bitterness’s, enmities and the quarrels (why try to hide them?) arising from a plurality of camp federations and associations. Whether we wish it or not, the Nazi enforced deportation and murder on the industrial scale are an invention of modern technology and nation building, and the recounting of it, the study of its origins and development simply in terms of testimony only results in a shocking realization that man has a very deep and dark side to his persona.Christian Bernadac gave us the Truth on Concentration Camps. In a time when the nations and governments of this world conceals enormous amounts of facts to society, I found it refreshing and timely to share this collection, which unfortunately is now little discussed at learning events of the Second World War, and it is nice to reveals to a blindsided public the truth. Yes it may be faint to read the atrocities suffered by the deportees, elements are sometimes hard to deal with, but truth lives. It is nice to see Bernadac was strong of enough to shed light on the horrible truths that are now squeezed out by teachers, be it voluntarily or not, because some truths about the war still remain in the shadows, and thankfully for hard research and work by men like Christian Bernadac we have some light, and truth on what really happened in the concentration camps.
