BEAUDOIN, Eugene (1898 – 1983). LODS, Marcel (1891 – 1978). Paris / Exposition Internationale. 1937. Paris: Jules Simon. Night scene with skywriting across a night sky reading “Paris”. Also visible is a stylized and outlined Eiffel Tower. This was a prize-winning poster in a competition held by the French Ministry of Commerce. Beaudoin and his partner beat out notable posterists including Leonetto Cappiello and Paul Colin. This is the large format; RARE in this size. 62 ½ x 47 ¾”. Linen backed. A.
