Helen Luton Hafer was born in California on July 19 1914.
She was famously known for her painting of California landscapes and still life works.
One of the most prominent plein air painters in California.
Hafer was a member of the Palm Springs Art Association Desert Art Center in Palm Springs Whittier Art Association Orange County Art Association and the Laguna Beach Art Association.
