After Auguste Moreau (French, 1834-1917), "Enfant En Guerre," 20th c., French patinated cast spelter newel post lamp, the cherub surmounted by a reed foliate surround with two lights, reverse of sculpture with cast signature and "Fabrication Francaise" seal, mounted on a faux marble polychrome metal base, Overall- H.- 34 1/2 in., W.- 15 1/2 in., D.- 14 in. Provenance: The Estate of Jay Calamia, property from the Dufour-Plassan House, New Orleans, Louisiana.
