IMPORTANT NOTE ON THE NUMBER OF VOLUME IN THE SET: Although Parr & Badger cite 27 booklets, there is an error in their calculation: There are 5 volumes in the series entitled Kampf im Osten (The War in the East); these are numbered 1 through 5. In the end notes of Parr/Badger, The Photobook: A History, vol. III, 'Kampf im Osten' is listed as one title, and then each of the subtitles of the five volumes is listed separately, making for one extra title. Thus, mistakenly, the total number of titles as stated in the text and bibliographic description is accidentally bumped up to 27. The actual number of booklets in the set is in fact 26 (as pictures on p. 23 of Parr & Badger Vol. 3).
