Description
Book Description: Jarrold & Sons, London, 1909. Hardcover in blue cloth with title and illustrated lioness gilt image to front board and Orangutan in gilt to spine. 179 pages with 12 mounted collotype plates and 36 duotone images taken by the author W.P. Dando. Cited in Auer, p. 95. Scarce.

Book Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) with solid binding, a bit of space between binding and backstrip, hinges tender and clean throughout with all plates present (including the Edgerton-esque double-page Chameleon tongue extension), showing rubbing and edgewear, mostly to top of spine. Overall a solid clean copy of this remarkable work.
