First Edition, First Printing. 223 pages with numerous black & white photographs and 214 (partly coloured) illustrations after drawings and texts by Karl Lagerfeld: fashion-designs for Anna Piaggi, who was Lagerfeld's dress-model for 13 years. Introductory text by Karl Lagerfeld, with accompanying texts by Anna Piaggi (Anna Maria Piaggi b. 22 March 1931 – d. 7 August 2012) was an Italian fashion writer known for her penchant of mixing vintage and contemporary fashion styles). SIGNED/INSCRIBED and dated in the year of publication by Karl Lagerfeld: "for Lee and Hanna / with love / from Karl / oct 17th 1986". BOOK CONDITION: Fine; a solid, tight, clean copy showing light toning to page edges; in a Fine dust jacket with light rubbing, hints of toning and a small 1/4 inch closed tear to upper edge of rear panel near spine (looks great in a new, clear, mylar cover).
