(Oblong 4to) 29x42 cm (11½x16¾"), black cloth photograph album with green and yellow ribbon and metal emblem of Brazil.Photographs of people and places mostly in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The first leaf contains 2 panoramic photographs from the most iconic vantage point of Brazil, on top of Rio de Janeiro's Corcovado. All but a few of the photographs are captioned. A beautiful set of photographs capturing all the favorite vantage points of tourists in Rio and Sao Paulo, but also capturing the activities of natives harvesting Babussu nuts, inmates at the penitentiary of Sao Paulo, harvesting rice, a photograph of Mr. Gilberto Freire, a famous Brazilian author, and many other views of people and places.

Album lightly rubbed, photographs near fine, some leaves of the album are detached; very good album.
