Not unlike the Maitres de L'Affiche series, L'Estampe Moderne was a portfolio printed between 1897-99, published by Imprimerie Champenois, Paris, contained 24 monthly portfolios, with four original lithographs in each. Each was commissioned only for this series.
As well as Mucha, some of the contributing artists included Rhead, Meunier, Ibels, Steinlen, Willette and Grasset.

Condition : In very good condition with some soft handling creases and some minor stains in the margins. Some visible folds and tears in the right margin (check pictures). Image very clean otherwise. Tipped-on paper.
