Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917) After: Conversation. Lithograph on paper. Unsigned and unframed. From a limited edition (1000) portfolio "Les Monotypes" 1948. Printed in Paris by Quatre-chemins - Editart. This print is accompanied by a document from R.S. Oxman, Purveyors of fine art Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Edgar Degas was a prominent impressionist painter best known for his depictions of dancers. Initially trained as an academic history painter, Degas soon found inspiration in modern life and became known as the classical painter of modern life.

Good condition with signs of ageing, the paper is toned with a fair amount of mat burn, and wavy.
