Description
A Group of Sugar Shakers and Salt Cellars
Secretary Albright often entertained foreign leaders in her Washington D.C. home. She identified the silver sugar shakers in this lot as her favorite things: "When I was at the UN, I did have to entertain a lot... It was crazy—a chef, the whole thing. Ultimately the flowers I had to keep buying were quite expensive. I had to pay for them myself. So I decided it would be better to put the money into something that lasted and started collecting the sugar shakers. They are mostly antiques. It was just a better thing to invest in," (Financial Times, February 6, 2019).
