First Edition, Published by Brentano's, New York, 1919, a week earlier then simultaneous edition in London.
Inscribed to Arthur Brentano (1858–1944), President of the Brentano's, at the time, the largest bookselling firm in the world.
Inserted, is the handwritten by G. Bernard Shaw shipping address of Arthur Brentano, on the part of the package wrapping.
