The painting appears to be in good condition with rabbet rub at the upper edge and right side of the frame edge, two small areas of loss at the lower center and a 1 x 1/4 inch area of loss to the right of the figure's thigh. The painting was viewed under blacklight and does not show any indication of inpainting. The frame appears to be in good condition with chip losses at the upper and lower right corners, some flaking at the lower right side and bottom edge, and miter splits.
