Description
(Disneyland, 1960s-1970s) A framed railroad spike from the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland in Frontierland. The leisurely locomotive ride closed in 1977 and was replaced by the high-octane Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. A ride vehicle and track from the attraction sat idle on the Rivers of America until 2010. Measuring 3.75” in a 8.75” x 8.75” custom shadow box frame, the spike is in good condition with expected heavy oxidation and wear from age and Park use.
