Description
(Disneyland, 1977) A rare plaque created to celebrate the grand opening of Space Mountain at Disneyland. The plaque reads, "Space Mountain Official Astronaut - Inaugural Flight at Disneyland - Summer, 1977" and features a 3D relief of the attraction building. The plaque was given to select VIPs and members of the press who attended the special pre-opening event at Disneyland. Measuring 9” x 12”, the plaque is in very good condition with light wear, scratches, and some scuffing at the top right corner.
