No. 2752407, iris diaphragm up to 22, Ø of the front element (optics only) 81 mm, rear element Ø (optics only) 60 mm, optics good under point light, a 0.5 mm area with traces of cement (insignificant in practice) around the edge of the rear element, overall excellent condition. - Note: Distance between optics and focusing screen at infinity 52.1 mm (the high lens mount of the rear lens has a possible reserve of an additional 5.6 mm), with a 60 mm wide format without vignetting, high contrast and strong resolution at open aperture, good sharpness at close range, chromatic aberrations quite low for this lens speed. Originally intended for aerial cameras and the nightime flash photography of military targets, this is still a good user lens for formats of up to 6 x 9 cm for light or collodion photography.

Sonnar 1,5/12,5 cm Nr. 2752407, Irisblende bis 22, Glas unter Punktlicht gut, an Rücklinse gleichmäßig außen ein etwa 0,5 mm Rand mit für die Praxis unbedeutenden Verkittungsspuren, Ø der Frontlinse (nur Glas) 81 mm, Rücklinse Ø (nur Glas) 60 mm. - Anwendungstechnisches: Abstand von Optik und Mattscheibe bei unendlich 52,1 mm (die hohe Linsenfassung der Rücklinse weist eine mögliche Reserve von zusätzlich 5,6 mm auf), bei 60 mm breitem Format keine Vignettierung, für Formate bis 6 x 9 cm gut geeignet, hoher Kontrast und gute Auflösung bei offener Blende, im Nahbereich gute Schärfe, chromatische Aberrationen für diese Lichtstärke recht niedrig. - Ursprünglich für Luftbildkameras und Nacht-Blitzauf­nahmen von Militärzielen gefertigt, ist es aktuell immer noch eine gute Anwenderoptik für 6 x 9 cm für Available Light oder Kollodion-Anwender - wie sich die Zeiten ändern! Aus Schwertern können Pflugscharen werden. Hervorragend erhalten, anscheinend nie im Feind-Einsatz oder gar im abgeschossenen Zustand erbeutet.
