SST/SST. A collection of two painted tin Hires Root Beer signs. CONDITION: (A) A c. 1940s Hires R-J Root Beer embossed tin sign has strong color and gloss throughout with very minor surface blemishes in the inner and outer field. The sign shows minor paint loss at the hanging holes and around the outer edges. (8.9+). (B) "Drink Hires It's Pure" tin strip sign has good color throughout with significant surface staining and one area of paint loss in the "R" of "Hires." The outer edge of the piece also shows significant staining, as well as paint loss in the top right-hand corner. (7.25). Condition: (8.9+),(7.25) Dimensions: 36" X 12"
