Item Details
Description
A rare and exceptional example of this ceramic syrup dispenser c. 1896 from Coca-Cola, made by the Wheeling Pottery Company, featuring the an early embossed Coca-Cola logo with age appropriate and desirable crazing throughout. CONDITION: The base and bowl of this dispenser show light discoloration from use. When the syrup was dispensed from this ceramic urn, it often leaked into the white ceramic material giving it an off-brown color. The bowl and base of this dispenser remain exceptionally nice, both of which are marked "The Wheeling Pottery Company" underneath. The lid on this dispenser is a reproduction, but it matches and fits exactly. The metal spigot is a recent production, but displays and matches well. This is a seldom seen piece that is at the top of the list for most Coca-Cola collectors, and it would be an excellent addition to any collection. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (8.75). Dimensions: 9" X 9" X 12"
