Don Drumm (OH/NC, b. 1935), Five-Foot Outdoor Iron Sunflower Sculpture
late 20th century, one part form, cut iron in the form of a stylized sunflower, signed near base.

With a career spanning over 60 years, Don Drumm has become synonymous with the Akron, Ohio art scene. He is a nationally recognized artist, and is known for aluminum metal sculptures, from smaller decorative pieces to large sculptures. He and his wife Lisa opened the playfully decorated compound in 1971, and it is home to his workshop, gallery, retail space and business office.
