Description
DESCRIPTION: Mid century Kay Bojesen painted wooden toy soldiers, including one drummer. Each marked with "Kay Bojesen Copyright Denmark" at inside of leg. One with "20,25" label adhered to underside of foot.
CIRCA: Mid 20th century
ORIGIN: Danish
DIMENSIONS: (Drummer) H: 9" W: 2.75" Depth: 3"
CONDITION: Many arms and legs do not move with ease. Some areas of minor and moderate paint loss, mostly to legs. Two minor chips to paint on underside of drum. Other, very minor chips to paint, consistent with age and use. Minor soiling and abrasions consistent with age and use. Probably lacking held objects.
