Description

The mother turtle can be seen here with three of her offspring along a marshy bed of a lake. Before they venture off into the wilderness to start their lives, they all crowd around, climbing about her hard shell saying their last goodbyes. Animal symbolism of the turtle in order, creation, patience, strength, stability, longevity, innocence, endurance, and protection. The bronze sculpture was captured using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation and mounted upon a marble base. Dimensions: Height 2 X Width 4 inches. Weight: 1 LB.
