This exceptional French Art Nouveau figure by T. Herlinger calls upon classical influences. This stunning work captures a languid beauty lounging against a noseless Sphinx, a nod to both the neoclassical tradition in French art and to the Egyptian fascination that blossomed during Napoleon\'92s empire. Exquisitely crafted and intriguing, figures such as this are highly desirable with collectors, especially those in such wonderful detail. This sculpture was crafted using the lost wax method.
