Description
Zebu Bose primogeniture indices or Boas indicus, sometimes known as humped cattle, indicus cattle, Cebu, or Brahman cattle are a type of domestic cattle originating in South Asia, particularly the Indian subcontinent. They are characterized by a fatty hump on their shoulders, drooping ears, and a large dewlap. They are highly adapted to high temperatures and are farmed throughout the tropical countries, both as pure zebu and as hybrids withering cattle, the other main type of domestic cattle. Zebu is used as drought oxen, as dairy cattle, and as beef cattle, as well as for byproducts such as hides and dung for fuel and manure. This Bronze bronze sculpture was cast by using the age-old method of lost wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish and it is mounted upon a marble base. Dimensions: Height 7 X Width 7 inches. Weight: 7 LBS.
