Description

Belgian. 1930s. This tin was originally sold with cookies with the intention that it would then be re-used as a lunchbox. The artwork is based on Gustaf Tenggren's original Snow White sketches. Tenggren was a chief illustrator for the Walt Disney Company in the 1930s. A rare, hard-to-find piece. Marked, "Walt Disney", at bottom right corner of lid. Marked, with maker's mark at top edge of lid.

3.75" x 8" x 5".

Condition
Great condition with some oxidation of handles and interior of tin. Some paint chipping and loss around edges. Scratches and scuffs throughout the exterior and interior.
