HISTORY: (esperanto) Teslenko Arhip estas unu el la plej tragikaj personoj en la ukraina literaturo, kiu opiniis, ke pasigi suferatan vivo estas protesto kontrau socia kaj nacia maljusteco. Li detalege montris idiotismon de la vilaga vivo en la komenco de XX jc., tragedion de la klasa disigo, kamparulajn strebojn al tero, libero, demokratio kaj klereco. En 1905 li kunportis kelkajn siajn rakontojn al Kievo - redakcioj rifuzis aperigi ilin kaj baldau la autoro, reveninte hejmen, estis arestita pro 'disvastigo de eksterlega literaturo'. 1906, post la vilaga ribelo - dua aresto kaj ekzilo norden de Rusio. Reveninte en Ukrainion, li mortis pro tuberkulozo.
