Ming Dynasty, finely cast copper body, gilded twelve zodiac bowl[Specifications] Height 9cm, diameter 15.8cm, weight 2kg[Inscription] Made by Emperor Qianlong[Details]The vessel has a wide open mouth with a slightly narrow neck, a bulging belly, a narrow bottom, and a high ring foot. The outer wall has a window with a Kuilong pattern, and the inner pearl pattern is a brocade ground with exquisite relief twelve zodiac patterns, with different shapes, a strong three-dimensional sense, vivid, lifelike, and interesting. The center of the bottom of the bowl is a Tai Chi lotus pattern, and the four characters "Made by Emperor Qianlong" are circled in the outer petals in regular script. The whole vessel is made of pure copper, gilded all over, and shining with golden light. It combines elegant shape, auspicious meaning, exquisite workmanship, and luxurious materials in one, showing the noble spirit of the royal emperor.
