American. C. 1908. The Model C, launched in 1908, was the last version of the Edison Home designed to play 2-minute cylinders. This one is equipped with a Model H 4-minute reproducer and a cygnet horn, as well as coming with a selection of 4-minute Blue Amberol cylinders, all suggesting that it has been converted to play 4-minute records. Quarter-cut oak case with metal. Includes 34 cylinders. Marked, "338152", serial number. Height with horn: 38" x 18" x 12". From the late John (Don) Ferguson Collection.

Untested and may require adjustment in order to function properly. The case has been refinished and is missing the Edison decal. Also missing is the linkage for the horn spring and the rubber connector for joining the horn to the reproducer. Little of the pinstriping on the bedplate remains. The horn and crane appear to be original and in good condition.
