Description
A lot of four antique European, English, and German matchboxes. The first matchbox was made in England, decorated with an enamel design, signed and dated. The reverse is engraved with the text: Official Memento of the visit of the Channel Fleet to Blackpool 9th to 11th August 1907. Has a ring for hanging. The second matchbox of Berlin origin dates from 1904 inside and is decorated with a lion in the center. The third matchbox has a gilded relief design with floral motifs. The fourth matchbox, of German origin, has a gilded coat of arms with animals and is inscribed Bremen. Antique English And German Accessories, and Collectibles.
Dimensions: Largest 2 1/2 x 1 3/4 in. Smallest 1 3/4 x 1 3/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and age. Has stains and dents. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
