Shiji, or The Records of the Grand Historian. Complete set of 16 volumes. Published in 1761, 26th year of Qing Dynasty, Qianglong era. Softcover books with hand-stitched binding, pocket size, woodblock printing. Shiji is a monumental history of the first 2500 years of China. It was written in the late 2nd to early 1st century BC by the ancient Chinese historian Sima Qian, whose father Sima Tan had begun it several decades earlier.
