Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hollow-built pottery figural vessel depicting a nude woman seated upon ample thighs and with shoulder cicatrices, arm placement, and facial feature stylization that all borrow heavily from the nearby Jalisco culture; a flared spout projects from atop the simple cap. Size: 7.75" L x 6.625" W x 13.25" H (19.7 cm x 16.8 cm x 33.7 cm)
