RIAA Platinum LP award for Paula Abdul album Forever Your Girl, which was released on June 21, 1988. The album was certified Platinum on March 9, 1989 by the RIAA.

Abdul's debut, the album was a big hit, scoring Billboard Hot 100 #1s "Straight Up", "The Way That You Love Me", "Opposites Attract" and the title track. By 1990 the album was certified 7x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

Detailed Item Description:

This RIAA Platinum award would have been manufactured sometime in 1989 making it approx. 33 years old. It is presented to Bob Cummings. It is not known what role Cummings played in the creation or marketing of this release.

The award is in VG condition, with only a very few mars on the frame and plexiglass. This award has an early style California Gold Record Co. manufacturer sticker on its back.
