Description
Herter's Hand Carved Balsa Wood Great Horned Owl Decoy 20 1/4" High. The beak is a real inserted bear claw, manufactured by Herter's Manufacturing Inc., Waseca, Minnesota, Circa 1940.
Condition
Condition - The original painted finish has wear and a few cracks. One of the taxidermy eyes has some cracks and the other has a painted replacement. Some loss to wood in tail section. Overall good condition considering the age. See Photos.
